Kicking off the month of November Codi Wilson our lady in waiting attended the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Hall of Fame induction banquet. She had so much fun celebrating the incredible work of our inductees, sharing stories and enjoyed gathering with friends. I then went up to our new rodeo home in Edmonton to attend the Farmfair International Presidents Reception. We had so much fun speaking with dignitaries from all over the world that share the love of agriculture and our western lifestyle. Thank you so much to Explore Edmonton as well as 840 CFCW for the hospitality and kindness throughout the night.
November was a time to give thanks and celebrate our sponsors as the season was beginning to wind down. Codi and I had so much fun in Calgary visiting Smithbilt Hats getting her all set up with two new gorgeous hats! All shaped up and ready to carry our beautiful Montana Silversmithscrown for her year.
We then went to Lammles to get a head start on outfitting Codi for her upcoming year as well as grabbed a few new outfits for my time at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo! Thank you so much to Dan Post Boot co. as well for getting our Lady in Waiting ready for the many miles this year!
Wrapping up my month I flew to our neighbors in Saskatchewan for the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo! I had so much fun alongside our Miss Rodeo Agribition, Ari Dyck, taking part in the many activities throughout the week! I loved celebrating the cattle shows, sheep shows, trade show, working dog showcases, as well as the ranch rodeo! I had the esteemed privilege of singing our national anthem several times throughout my visit as well as carrying the C5 Rodeo flag during performances! Thank you so much C5 Rodeo for all that you have done for Miss Rodeo Canada!
With my whole heart,Â
Miss Rodeo Canada 2024
