November 2018
Hats off to Red Deer for hosting such a successful Canadian Finals Rodeo! Each night rodeo fans were treated to exciting performances from Canada's finest rodeo athletes paired up with equally outstanding rodeo stock.
Before the CFR even began, Miss Rodeo Canada contestants arrived early in Red Deer to begin their competition, consisting of Horsemanship, Public Speaking (prepared, impromptu & extemporaneous), Written Rodeo & Equine Exam, Personal Interview and Modelling. On the final day of the competition, MRC contestants participated in a sold-out fashion show and luncheon hosted by the Ladies of Canadian Professional Rodeo. Models showcased the latest fashions from Lammles and Roper with accessories provided by Audi Roy of Classic Rodeo Boutique. Not only were guests treated to an enjoyable afternoon surrounded by friends, but they were also part of a successful event that raises funds for the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team and the CPRA Cowboy Benefit Fund. We were honoured to be involved in this luncheon, which over the years, has generated over $300,000 for two such worthy causes that support our athletes.
On Friday November 2nd, down in the dirt during the CFR performance, Jaden Holle was crowned Miss Rodeo Canada 2019 (for full results go to www.missrodeocanada.ca) Congratulations to Jaden!
