Following my year as Miss Rodeo Canada in 1993, I went back to the University of Lethbridge and completed my final semester of my Bachelor of Education Degree. After graduation, my first teaching position was at Manyberries, AB, teaching Grade 1 and 2. I enjoyed two years of teaching and living in Manyberries. In 1996, I married Jeff Sears and moved to Nanton where we have a family feedlot operation. I continued teaching in Nanton until our daughter, Bailey, was born in 2001. In 2003 our little boy, Jace, was born. I still enjoy barrel racing, travelling, and skiing. We are enjoying raising our kids on a ranch and are currently teaching then how to ride! Bailey is dressing up as a Rodeo Queen for Halloween, maybe the circle is beginning again!
